WEEKLY BULLETIN
This week has been a busy and successful one across the school.
Our Year 8 students had their HPV vaccinations and I would like to extend my thanks to the school nurse for her professionalism and care in ensuring the process ran smoothly.
We held a transition evening for students heading to Harrogate College next academic year. If any further support, please see Mr Faulkner.
Last night Mrs Hastings, Miss Ramsey and Miss Addy escorted some of the year 10 and 11 GCSE drama students and some prospective year 9 GCSE drama students to see blood brothers at the Alhambra in Bradford. It was the second time seeing the show for the year 11s and it is still as powerful. Great timing as their GCSE drama written exam is next Friday! Experiences like this enrich our curriculum and bring learning to life beyond the classroom.
In addition, our GCSE Spanish students have been completing their speaking examinations. These assessments are an important milestone, and I would like to thank Mr Wollard for his support and preparation of the students during this period.
Please note that our next Parent Forum is the 12th May. Please come along and celebrate the publication of our recent Ofsted report and hear how we will continue to strive for the benefit of our students and community.
