Student Leadership

Each year we appoint a team of students as our Student Leadership Team. This team is selected through an application and interview process to create a student working party, to ensure that student voices can be heard and channelled through these representatives. 

The objective of the Student Leadership Team is to empower students to work in partnership with staff towards shared goals and enable ideas and creativity to flourish through a variety of inspiring, challenging and valued school projects which will impact positively on learning, teaching and well-being for both students and staff at Harrogate High School.

So far this year student leaders student leaders activities have included:

- Team building exercises

- A resilience training workshop

- Student panels when interviewing for new staff members

- Giving tours of our school

- Fundraising activities

- Student Voice panels

- Working with Well being in Mind

- Participating in the NSAT Next Generation Board

- Trip to London to take part in a workshop at the Houses of Parliament
