Message from the Headteacher
This week we were delighted to welcome Year 6 students to our “HHS Day - Hello High School Day”. This special event gave year 6 primary school students the opportunity to spend a day in secondary school, experiencing lessons and gaining a real insight into life at Harrogate High School.
Following this, we were thrilled to host our Open Day. It was a pleasure to welcome families into the school, where staff and students enjoyed showcasing the opportunities, achievements, and community spirit that make Harrogate High School so special.
The atmosphere was wonderful, with a buzzing energy and we received many positive comments and feedback from visitors which is fantastic.
Thank you to everyone for your support. We are proud to be a truly inclusive community school in Harrogate, and I feel privileged to be Headteacher here.
Since becoming Headteacher over 3 years ago, our academic results have improved year on year and we have developed our holistic approach in supporting our students, through our CARES values, that we believe is so fundamental to success and makes us unique.
Parents commented that the students of Harrogate High School are able to develop as individuals whilst maintaining academic success. This is our true reputation. Please help us spread this positive message about Harrogate High School through our town and the surrounding area.
Thanks again to all our families, and partners who support us. We need to continue to work collectively so this school continues to thrive.
Mr Gill
Head of Academy
