It has been a busy week at Harrogate High School.

The Year 8 residential trip was a great success, with pupils enjoying a wide range of activities, team-building challenges, and new experiences. Staff were very proud of the way the students represented the school and supported each other throughout the trip.

Meanwhile, five of our year 8 students have worked well over the last few weeks to successfully complete their practical work on a farm. They will receive an AQA certificate for this course. This is a credit to their commitment and determination. Well done!

This week we welcomed representatives from Harrogate College, who visited school to speak with students about the opportunities available for their future studies. It was a valuable chance for pupils to ask questions and learn more about possible next steps.

Today a group of students leaders are visiting London to take part in a workshop at the Houses of Parliament and a tour of Westminster Abbey. We hope they have had a great time and look forward to hearing about it next week.

Finally, we’d like to remind families that if you have any problems or concerns regarding school matters, please contact us directly. We are always happy to help, and working together ensures the best outcomes for our students.

Head of Academy
