Message from the Headteacher

As we complete the second week of term, it has been wonderful to see students settling back into school routines so quickly. Classrooms have been purposeful, with pupils engaging positively in their learning and reconnecting with friends and staff.

Teachers have been revisiting expectations, establishing learning routines and beginning new topics across the curriculum. This is an important time for students to organise themselves, ensure equipment is ready each day and develop good habits that will support their learning throughout the term.

We would like to thank parents and carers for their continued support with punctuality and attendance. These early weeks set the tone for a successful term, and your support plays a vital role in helping students feel prepared and confident.

Thank you also to parents and carers who attended the Year 8 Parents’ Evening, which was held online this week. The appointments were well attended and provided a valuable opportunity for families to speak directly with subject teachers about students’ progress, attainment and next steps in learning. We hope parents found the discussions informative and helpful in supporting learning.

Please remember to check school communications regularly for upcoming events, key dates and reminders. If you have any questions or concerns as the term progresses, do not hesitate to contact the school.
